Finance Assistant

We have an immediate need for someone to assist us, on a part-time basis, with three things: Quickbooks entry, invoicing clients, and managing client retainers (making sure our clients pay us). Giving this role a particular title is challenging. There are aspects of bookkeeping, accounting, data entry, and administration. But, we don't need an Accountant. Someone who has a background as a Bookkeeper or an Accounting Assistant would be suited to this role. And, it would be great if you had something like a Business Diploma in Accounting or Finance.

The part-time nature of this role (minimum 20 hours per week) could be appealing to someone who wants to structure a career around family and/or other commitments like school. We'll work with you to set up a schedule that benefits both you and us. We are a tech company, but don't worry if you don't have a technical background or experience in that industry; we'll train you to be successful in the role.
