Team Kerkhoff Technologies Takes on Ride for RAN 2023
At Kerkhoff Technologies, we believe in the power of community and giving back. That’s why we were thrilled to be a sponsor of the 7th annual Ride for RAN event in Chilliwack. This incredible event brought together about 50 volunteers and 130 cyclists who joined forces to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people in our community.
Ruth & Naomi’s Mission (RAN) has been tirelessly working to support Chilliwack’s population. The Ride for RAN event plays a significant role in their mission by raising funds to launch new outreach programs. This year, the event exceeded all expectations by raising over $90,000 – a testament to the incredible generosity and support of the Chilliwack community.
The Ride for RAN offered participants various routes, catering to cyclists of all skill levels. The family-friendly 20-kilometer trail ride was popular for many, allowing families to bond while contributing to an important cause. For those seeking a more challenging experience, there was the “Conquer the Climb” ride, featuring an 80-kilometer route and a 40-kilometer option.
We were proud to have our CEO, Wim Kerkhoff, represent our company by taking the grueling 80-kilometer route.
His dedication to both the event and our community is truly inspiring. Isaac Szijjarto, our Reporting and Payroll Specialist, joined him as a cyclist who showed incredible determination throughout the ride. This was his second year in a row!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Ride for RAN. Your unwavering support and enthusiasm made this the most successful fundraising year. The $90,000 raised will undoubtedly significantly impact the lives of those in need, and we couldn’t be prouder to have played a part in this achievement.
We’d also like to recognize and applaud all the sponsors who contributed to the event’s success. Your generosity and commitment to the community are commendable. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in Chilliwack.
